4. Finishing Schools Help Indian Execs Look the Part

As commerce becomes more of a global exercise, executives at Indian firms are being sent to finishing schools to learn how to dress for success and to practice proper etiquette at the dinner table. "It is mainly Americans who have the no-formals look, but if you want to be global, you will have to do business with Europeans and the Chinese as well, who do not buy the dressed-down look," says Pria Warrick, head of one of the finishing schools employed for executive makeovers.
