Marshall Fire resources

City of BoulderCount Me In - City of Boulder

Dear Connie,

We want to reach out in the wake of the heartbreaking loss and destruction due to fires in Boulder County. Our thoughts and heavy hearts go out to you and everyone impacted. We are all struggling to find words to express our sadness.

We are thinking of each of you. We'd like to share the email below from the Community Foundation, which includes information on where to donate, volunteer, and get support for those impacted by the fires. See below this message.

At times like no other, we all want to help, and yet there are feelings of helplessness along with a desire to serve. We are still in the very early days of processing this disaster. Right now, we can share this site, coordinated by the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, as one option: https://coloradoresponds.communityos.org/. You can sign up here and when they are ready for volunteers, they will contact you. And, if we hear anything more about ways to volunteer, we will let you know.

We are grateful for each and every one of you, and we hold each of those who have been directly impacted in our hearts and will do all we can to support you. For everyone else, we appreciate you, your continued resilience, and your service to our community. These will be challenging months ahead, and together we will work through them.

In solidarity,

Email from the Community Foundation:

Dear Community,

It has been a particularly difficult 24 hours for our community and we have been humbled by the global outpouring of support. This support has overwhelmed our website, so we have worked with our partners, Community First Foundation / Colorado Gives, to create a new Boulder County Wildfire Fund page.

As needs arise, we will post here. Thank you for continuing to step up for your neighbors in need."

We will continue to work closely with our government and nonprofit partners to support the needs of the community as they emerge. We want to thank everyone for your support and generosity in this difficult moment for Boulder County.

Warmly,

Tatiana Hernandez
