I think it's a good idea to make sure you have enough of the things that really matter to you a lot to last maybe 3 months. For me that is medication, really important supplements, small essential gadgets, and some food that keeps well. Also, just things you think will be inconvenient if other people panic buy them, even though they're really made in the US anyway.
