Ah, jungle juice… that hard liquor and fruit juice concoction that’s a staple of college parties, and is said to have gotten its name from the animal behavior it seems to induce.
Well the guys over at The Campus Companion have taken their version of jungle juice to a new level. A mixture of gin (or vodka), Rose’s Mojito Passion (or pink lemonade) and tonic, it’s pink in natural light—but by adding a little black light to the festivities, you get a drink that glows aquamarine.
And since pink and aquamarine are the main colors of the Aurora Borealis, they dubbed their new social lubricant “Aurora Jungle Juice.” Ah college, the only place where mixing alcohol and science results in a party.
