FPGA Field Application Engineer
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, Field Application Engineer with a focus on FPGA/Embedded design. Responsible for providing technical assistance to Corporate Account Managers, Account Managers, Resellers and Application Engineers in your region. The expectation is the delivery of revenue targets and the implementation of Altium's business objectives. Open to candidates in the East Coast or Central regions.
• Provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, trade shows and seminars.
• Establish and manage technical relationships with customers, partners and industry leaders.
• Serve as the lead for RFP's and customer proposals.
• Reduce sales cycle by helping Sales Reps to drive the sales process with strategic accounts.
• Expand regions pipeline within targeted accounts.
• Provide second level support for new FAE's and AE's as needed.
• Serve as an FPGA/Embedded design technical expert for strategic accounts, reseller training, and corporate initiatives.
• Work with management to ensure the efficient collection and analysis of customer information and market data while ensuring effective communication of the requested information to management.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning as related to the region, and the driving and closing of business.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 5 years experience in Presales function.
· A solid understanding of electronic design software.
· Proficient in FPGA/CPLD and embedded software design.
· Extensive customer contact; willingness and ability to travel required.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the desire to work in a fast paced environment, and passion and enthusiasm about Altium's products.
